The robins are fat and red breasted and gathering large juicy worms. Their nests are rotund and awaiting tiny blue eggs.
The rain is unrelenting and pounds with branches ripped by nature from their trunks; tossed aside like a child tosses confetti at a party. {Nature is a force, indeed.}
There exists in my midst a multitude of bunnies emerging from beneath winter's icy grip. The first one showed up on Easter Sunday. How apropos!
This *Charles* {and he shall henceforth be called such} showed up last night at dinner in my backyard. Is he so sweet or what? I wish there were more scale in this photo...this little fellow is about 6 inches tall in life...a true baby.
The best thing about the season of spring, the rebirth. All things are cyclic. Connection abounds.

The first bunny I spotted in our yard - a big motley fellow - was on Easter Sunday evening, too. He wasn't afraid of me and my iPod, so we talked for a minute and I warned him about the hawks and the guy with the big mower.
Wishing you a lovely and safe (nature's not always a force for good with us humans, after all) springtime!
