I'm sipping hot cocoa.
Still cranking out the details of my semi-autobiographical work of literary fiction, on a Sunday morning. The kids are building a little village around the wooden train set. It is so lovely to see them architecting their lives, creating their ideal microcosmic towns full of joy and perfect happinesses.
Saturday night we happened to celebrate a new holiday with some close friends. They invited us to their home for Diwali -and through their eyes, cooking and stories we learned of this very special holiday.
I'm on the cocoa this morning because I have yet to be able to replicate the tea I'm served whenever I visit them. Hot and spicy and just the right amount of sweetness. I'm intrigued too by the pounding of fresh cardamom in the pestle & mortar.
Sunday will be writing, cocoa and train sets. Ah, life has it's perfect moments.
