The most colourfully laid & simple plans.

Rebecca Self and Christine Mason Miller laughing over lunch.  I'm certain that in between giggles that Rebecca is requesting the dish of hummus, the one loaded with the fresh olive oil drizzlings.  But that was back in March, with our photographic safari group in Jordan. 

It is now July. We (Julian and I, not the photographic safari group) just spent five days away on holiday with our children at Lake Erie. And no, shame on me I only took five photos which I lazily have left inside my camera. So you get a fun picture of Rebecca and Christine instead, because together in this photo they embody the message of my post. 

As temperatures soar high and the added humidity makes it feel that much hotter...I must pause to thank the Lord above or whoever resides in the celestial skies for my life.  This past week we spent a fantastic few days at the lake.  My children became known to me in so many ways.  They are stargazers, philosophers, artists. They are my greatest loves and I'm so very lucky. 

Plans:

• meeting my oldest friend in the world for dinner Monday
• squeezing out some good old fashioned belly laughs
• oh! I made turkey chili, and will serve with "broccoli and cheddar baked potatoes" tomorrow
• coloured my hair chocolate brown tonight! (guess that falls under "previously planned")
• writing two articles! just watch this space for more information
• going to dig out my tarot cards for fun and do a reading
• going to do some deep work on myself which involves a lot of being ONE with the Universe (think mantras, exercise, meditation)
• planning a bbq for family
• going to spend an entire day (tomorrow) complaintless.  wish me luck!
• surfing the net for deals on trips, especially hotels and airfare to fun cities
• going to stencil a bronze mandala on my bathroom wall, if it turns out, I'll do a cluster of them
• one last thing, live deeply and enjoy life fully (that one will be on my list forever)
• finish reading The Garden Doula's recommendation of "Reading Lolita in Tehran', it is gripping and wonderful in every respect
• going to VoteMyFundy.com over and over and over....The Bay of Fundy! Vote to make it one of the New7Wonders!
