Yes, another picture of my friend Zohrab in Nova Scotia last week, who made it home just fine to Amman yesterday. What a long journey home to the Middle East! We miss you already Z. So do the kids! Who couldn't resist asking you..."Were you ever bitten by a lion?" while strolling through St. Lawrence Market, in Toronto.
Julian was thrilled because for one day it wasn't "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" all day while he was driving, it was "Zohrab, Zohrab, Zohrab!!!!"
Z, thank you for helping Olivia get over her fear of heights at the CN Tower. We are forever indebted!
Two things today, wishing my SIL (who is also my partner in crime for L.A. and NYC trips)....A Happy Birthday!!!!! Many happy returns you xox
Secondly, yesterday found out (completely out of the blue) that our children's childcare provider...who is entirely fabulous and I went on a waiting list of sorts to get her because she is so fabulous and I need someone who LOVES my kids almost as much as I do while I'm not there...you get the picture...went to school with me for years and years although a grade below and henceforth I didn't really know her well but...insert *Happy dance!!!!* She did know my little brother very well. Turns out that this woman I thought I knew for ten months I've really known since about 1981. Go figure!!! (Emailed her two photographs yesterday, one from 1982 and the other from 1986...move over Irene Cara....there is a new chick in town. LOL!)
So kids, (if there are any kids reading this blog)...Lesson: make sure you treat all the people around you well, and do it from the heart because one day they may end up in a position that is so entirely elevated to yours and you will be forever indebted to them. Just sayin'.
(As we know dear readers, those who watch our children have THE most important job. Oh to be independantly wealthy so that I can stay home and watch my own children. But until then, thank YOU so much, and you know who you are.)
xoxoxo
p.s. On my holidays next week, so will break from the blog but will think of you while I'm roasting marshmallows under starry skies and cooking up s'mores because we are only kids once. (Or twice in my case!)
Or in my case Always ... Have a great time!

I was just dropping in to wish you and yours the happiest Independence Day. May your day be full! May you enjoy laughter shared with family, great food shared with friends, fireworks to make you gasp, a lump in your throat at the anthem, and a full and grateful heart at all we have been given. Happy Fourth of July, my friend!

Have a great holiday. Don't we all wish to be independently wealthy so we could do life as we wish and dream.
