Do you ever wish that you could go knock on some stranger's appealing looking door?
The small and quirky home that you pass by on the way to work each morning, must hold so many fabulous secrets! You wonder...is the owner nice? Would he or she invite me in for tea and to see all the glorious treasures they create each day?
{Next week I shall be brave. Next week I shall knock on that door!}
The small & quirky property that has my attention, the one with the poppy-lined stone path to it's separate small and gorgeous studio is here...all abloom.
Currently my life is in the *upswing*. Fun things are transpiring.
I am planning a garden party for July, a fun one with tarot card readings and candles in china tea cups under a moonlit sky! We'll eat, drink and share good conversation. We'll inspire one another. We'll celebrate the dawning of summer in a way.
All outdoor party ideas are welcome. I want the guests to feel like they are on a mini all-inclusive fun vacation. So do share!
{Then I shall share photos with you when the time comes!}
Eagerly we await a guest on a flight from Amman, to our fair city of Toronto this week. My friend's friend is joining us on a trip to Halifax. There we shall learn all about National Aboriginal Day, eat delicious food, meet wonderful people, and reconnect with this friend of ours. I can't wait to share it with you! {Goodness knows I've needed a change of scenery, something to look forward to. Don't WE ALL???}
xo Dream a little dream of me.....sweet dreams will someday find you....sweet dreams that seem to whisper I LOVE YOU. Birds singin' in the sycamore tree....xo
Have fun at the garden party. I love the idea of the tarot card readings.

You are the best. I wish I lived in that studio and then I could be the person who answers the door when you knock. A garden party? Oh, the possibilities are endless, I love vintage table cloths and those net things to cover the food. Margie and I are going to be in Halifax in a week or so, when are you going to be there?

I hope the party turns out...you are the queen of dinner parties...any ideas? You are the ultimate hostess!
I'm looking forward to seeing our friend, as time draws near it is getting exciting! One element is missing however, YOU.
We are really packing a lot into this trip for him, so hopefully he'll really get a feel for Toronto & of course the east coast with (fingers crossed) a side trip to Peggy's Cove.
Either way, there will be lots of fresh lobster. ;D
Will write to you this week. Miss you like mad. xoxo

Nice shot. I like the how offset front door lets the other blue squares stagger across the composition. I feel an agreeable resonance with this little house.
I'm fascinated by front doors, entrance ways, and what they suggest about their owners. I have a little collection, which I'll post some time.
