Good luck with your camera - so exciting! Can't wait to see more of the world through your eyes.

Thanks, especially, for your last paragraph here. A reminder I might even print out and put up on the wall somewhere hereabouts. You're just beautiful.

Cameras are so much fun! Instant gratification, now that they have gone digital! I can't wait to see more!! Love the last paragraph of this post..... I need to copy it and put it where I can see it daily!

I'm glad you're familiarising yourself more w/ the technical bits of your camera - but don't worry - not all the people on the trip will be photographers! The point is to enjoy the adventure and soak up the beauty - the photography, etc. is icing on the cake.

Happy, happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! And lovely poetry and wise words of advice. Will catch up w/ you soon when I'm back in Paris (will email you later). xoxox

P.S. Besides, I think your photographs rock! Yes, it helps to know more of the technical bells and whistles. But you have the eye and that's what matters! xoxox

Mmmm, I haven't read Neruda in quite awhile, makes me want to dig up my old, pink copy of the sonnets book. Have you read the book called something like "Ten Love Poems and a Song of Despair?" Absolutely heartrendingly beautiful.
