on my list, you ask? 1. be true to myself. 2. be open. 3. share my love madly and deeply. 4. spend more time with nature. 5. eat chocolate every single day.

stay in contact with you. xo

a new header and i was here like four hours ago... it is like walking into a different world. i had to check to make sure i had the right indigo blue... great list! nice and big so you can't miss it! i am required to complete my list by day one year 2009 with my husband as supervisor... i like yours; simple, not overly taxing, doable. you go girl!

Cleaning on a to do list?????? Hardly.

Loving your list. I've got a few of those on mine as well.

So what are the new ideas?????

Happy future to you and your family, Gillian!!

i am thinking 'first kisses' are springing to

just popped into my head....oh

and planting lots of 'yes' seeds...

and going to YOUR wedding!

love ya ....:)

Looks like a darn good list and I'm glad it doesn't have anything silly like cleaning house!! I'm just hoping to be more creative this coming year.

Happy New Year!!!

Mary T.

I don't think I've ever put cleaning the house more on a list. I just want more hours in a day. I don't make lists for the new year. There will be plenty of joy and sorrow and happy and sadness in a year. That is just the way it goes! This sounds like a good, really good list!

devil mood

ehheeh so cute! And I love your banner! I think it will be an exciting year ahead!

That is a great list for 2009. There are so many hugely exciting things on it - get married, buy a new house - wow! And I hear you on the breathe deeper and try new ideas. I'm still pondering my own list. I'd like to travel somewhere involving a plane. That yearning for adventure is deep in my bones and heart these days.

Happy New Year, Gillian!

I love your list Gillian! Happy New Year beautiful!

Gillian daSilva

Well then you know Toronto is only one hour by plane!!! Get over here girl! Spring sounds good. Bring your camera...and we'll hit Queen St. and Kensington, little India and of course the Distillery.
Yes, 2009 is already shaping up to be a great one.xo

Gillian daSilva

Same to you, Yoli!~
Enjoy it all with your gorgeous family.xo

Gillian daSilva

Hey Portuguese! Thank you :)
Yes, very exciting. We must make it so! What is in the stars? xo

Gillian daSilva

Yes, it does go that way. Life is up and down. We hang on and make the best of it. xo

Gillian daSilva

Oh I should have added creativity to my list. I am striving to paint more. xo

Gillian daSilva

Watch the mail. Pineapple Mulvaney is expecting a wee parcel.

Gillian daSilva

New ideas include travel. So '09 is the year we meet my friend.
More art.
Or should I say, more ideas for new art I've yet to try. Etc...! :)
How to get and stay organized. I have a plan!!!

Gillian daSilva

'09 will be our year. Tara, I can feel it in me bones girl!~
Looking forward to seeing you somewhere again.
Shall we meet in Rome? Any Italian publishers looking at your work?
We should meet by the Trevi Fountain. For more champagne of course.
Perhaps another wedding!

Gillian daSilva

Thanks Elena! As you know, I'm a banner addict!!! xoxo

Gillian daSilva

Oh Robin! That is so funny. Yes, I change banners like I change knickers. Frequently~~~~!!!!
I wish you the best of luck with your list. I hope you stick to it as well.
Happy New Year!~

Gillian daSilva

Kai birdie :)
Blessings to you and MR. Dan and your own wedding plans. When is the big day?

Gillian daSilva

Graciel :)
I should add number 5 to my list.
I have been inhaling Toblerone bars like they are going out of style. Not good though!!!
Yes, to staying in contact :)

Robin Laws

i completed my list early via your inspiration gillian... watch for it to post in the next couple of days :)

Gillian daSilva

Yay! Then I'll end up adding to mine. I need lots of goals to meet this year. If I set them, and meet some of them, I'll be so darned happy! But if I don't make a list, then I won't do anything. Ya know?

susanna's sketchbook

Ohhhh...Torontooooo...one of my favourite cities. My twin sister lives there. I think you'll just have to meet the two of us at the same time, Gillian. :) And yes, it would be fun to walk through the city with you. Maybe this summer?

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday. And Happy New Year!

Aww... sweet Gillian I will be cheering you on all the way in 2009. Okay, I need to add the "breath deeper" to my list too. ; )

Last year I simply choose a word, it was embrace....this year...I'm thinking about my word and

do something creative everyday
OPEN my eyes
and YES, breathe deeply, ever so

Happy HAPPY New Year to you and yours!!

I had not been pondering the new year, but your post has made me think about it. I want to stay healthy, all the sugar and treats at christmas have shown me that I NEED good fuel for my body to feel good. I want to finish some projects and start some new ones. I want to take at least two courses, photography and drawing. I want to spend more time in my garden come spring. Thanks for making me thoughful.

OOPS that was me that wrote that comment, Kath ...

I vow to never clean house again.
(This is a resolution I will keep.)

I have goals, but no resolutions.
Eating from our garden and taking time to be are on that list.

Glad you hear you had a wonderful Christmas! We spent our Christmas very low key with our most immediate and intimate family members and lots of hot chocolate and carols! I'm anxious for the New Year- it will be the best one yet by far!!! :D

Thank you for brightening my world with your beautiful Indigo Blue and I hope that 2009 is even better than you expect it will be.

You know what.........the simplest list I have is to resolve to have a happy life! Once joy is seeping out my pores the rest is just routine! I wish that for everyone.
To you I say.........you are loved. You are loved. You are loved. You are rich and rolling around and twirling in all the love.
You impact people either with words or voice or in person. You have a way about you that is soothing and wise, loving and charming, natural and real. You possess great ability to reach all the heights you endeavor to reach.........therefore your list will be manifested.
You have a birthday coming up....a celebration must be had! Just know, you are celebrated every day just for being on this planet!
Love and hugs to you and may THIS be the year we meet!

Wayfaring Wanderer

They were already my resolutions!

ahem, maybe i have a son for you. to marry, in exchange for a little spa visit now and then. i could be friends with you AND YOUR MOM. how great would that be!!!
