p.s. I'd love it if you clicked here. (You'd be rocking out to my latest musical recommendation-insert sheepish grin here.) Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene goes wildly solo. I'm lovin it. :)

Looks like a darn good list and I'm glad it doesn't have anything silly like cleaning house!! I'm just hoping to be more creative this coming year.
Happy New Year!!!
Posted by: Janet | December 28, 2008 at 02:11 PM
I don't think I've ever put cleaning the house more on a list. I just want more hours in a day. I don't make lists for the new year. There will be plenty of joy and sorrow and happy and sadness in a year. That is just the way it goes! This sounds like a good, really good list!
Posted by: Mary T. | December 28, 2008 at 02:43 PM
ehheeh so cute! And I love your banner! I think it will be an exciting year ahead!

That is a great list for 2009. There are so many hugely exciting things on it - get married, buy a new house - wow! And I hear you on the breathe deeper and try new ideas. I'm still pondering my own list. I'd like to travel somewhere involving a plane. That yearning for adventure is deep in my bones and heart these days.
Happy New Year, Gillian!

Yes, 2009 is already shaping up to be a great one.xo

More art.
Or should I say, more ideas for new art I've yet to try. Etc...! :)
How to get and stay organized. I have a plan!!!

'09 will be our year. Tara, I can feel it in me bones girl!~
Looking forward to seeing you somewhere again.

Yay! Then I'll end up adding to mine. I need lots of goals to meet this year. If I set them, and meet some of them, I'll be so darned happy! But if I don't make a list, then I won't do anything. Ya know?
:)

Ohhhh...Torontooooo...one of my favourite cities. My twin sister lives there. I think you'll just have to meet the two of us at the same time, Gillian. :) And yes, it would be fun to walk through the city with you. Maybe this summer?
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday. And Happy New Year!

I had not been pondering the new year, but your post has made me think about it. I want to stay healthy, all the sugar and treats at christmas have shown me that I NEED good fuel for my body to feel good. I want to finish some projects and start some new ones. I want to take at least two courses, photography and drawing. I want to spend more time in my garden come spring. Thanks for making me thoughful.

You know what.........the simplest list I have is to resolve to have a happy life! Once joy is seeping out my pores the rest is just routine! I wish that for everyone.
To you I say.........you are loved. You are loved. You are loved. You are rich and rolling around and twirling in all the love.
You impact people either with words or voice or in person. You have a way about you that is soothing and wise, loving and charming, natural and real. You possess great ability to reach all the heights you endeavor to reach.........therefore your list will be manifested.
You have a birthday coming up....a celebration must be had! Just know, you are celebrated every day just for being on this planet!
Love and hugs to you and may THIS be the year we meet!
Lisa
