"Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. "
-Clarence, the angel from 'It's A Wonderful Life', 1946 Frank Capra film
I believe in miracles. Formed by the collective good thoughts and wishes from strangers. Strangers to sight but not to heart, or mind. These people who comment here and leave messages of love. These miracle makers. You.
I believe too that my father is a strong willed, fighting man. He won't wimp out now. There are many more silly jokes to be told, many more video games to be played...many more chess matches with his beloved granddaughter.
Thank you to Maithri, a good friend and caring doctor who lives down under. The flowers for my father arrived this morning as I was opening up the shop.
Maithri, your generous heart and nature will be rewarded tenfold I have no doubts.
xoxo
That is lovely. People can be so very kind and generous. It renews my faith.
All the best, Kath

Wasn't that thoughtful? People have been so kind. All it takes is an encouraging word sometimes. The smallest of gestures can have the greatest impact on us.

Thinking of you Gillian...and your dad...your mom...and the rest of the family. But what really nice is of the blog world...is that we can all think of you...send YOU thoughts of calmness...and patience...and trust with you...cause as a daughter, you take on responsibilities that are way above what a daughter should do...but so want to do more than what you are doing right now.
Always know you are not alone and we love you! xx
