Yay!!!!! I am sooooo HAPPY! Still feeling high from last night...
AND, I drew YOU in the Dia de Bloglandia give away for the set of banners.
Email me your snail addy and I'll get it off to you :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, my dear wise Canadian friend. And thank you for being so supportive and encouraging during these past few months. YES WE DID! I'm so happy and had champagne tonight to celebrate. :) xoxox
What a great shot of the Rainbow Bridge...I've been on there so often:-) I'm hoping that the people will be happy with Obama and that they will give him a chance...I just don't envy him the mess he has to clean up, the one that Bush is leaving behind!! xoxo
i was teary all day long and so so happy for the people of America and the rest of the world!
for us Europeans, Bush put an end to the American dream and this morning it was just like : "oh my God...yes we can dream again..yes we can hope again"
I think it's so neat, and so telling, that people around the world share in our excitement over the election of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Today Oprah Winfrey came on her show wearing a "Hope Wins!" tee shirt. Well, yes it did, and it's sweet to see.
Thank you so much dear friend. I am so happy about it all...so, so happy.
I have just spent the most amazing hour catching up with you here...your words, your images..it all just melts together into a warm, magical mix. I so love reading those *questions*. My but they do cause one to think! Not a BAD thing eh? : )
Please give your Mom and dad a huge hug and kiss from me...I love your Mom so...and thank you for being as wonderful as you are!
It's so wonderful to see that the happiness and hope I feel once again, born and living in the U.S. is reflected by so many all around the world. Blue is the color of hope and peace.

It's a day that we will look back on and say "I know just where I was and what I felt" the day he was elected. A momentous and historical event that will change the face of this nation. Equally wonderful is the support and joy from other countries over this!
Love you Blue!

A brilliant symbol, Gill, for a heartwarming sentiment. Tink! Nothing but BLUE skies, from now on. And on this most hopeful of mornings after...
"Hands across the water (water)
heads across the sky..."

Thank you! It's such a wonderful time for us. I think we all feel a little more hopeful now that the past eight years are almost over.

Its just so incredible.... The ripples of change this one act is creating all across the world...
Whenever I feel down now, I remind myself that Obama is the president of the US - and it makes me smile.
Much love my friend,
